I had arborist David come out to assess the trees on my property in San Francisco, in order to provide me with an accurate snapshot of the current health of my trees and plants. I have a hill in my backyard that has several old pines. One of them is heavily laden with pine cones and appears to be precariously leaning over towards my home, looking like with a strong enough gust of wind that it could come crashing into my roof and the two bedrooms below. David took his time in exploring both front and back yards and kindly explained to me what he believes is the best course of action. Trees protect rats nests, apparently--so cleaning out the overgrown trees and bushes in my front yard is a must. The old pine in my backyard is hollowing out, meaning it's ending the course of its life and is indeed a hazard for myself, my home, and my immediate neighbors. I never would have even considered the trees being a danger. David perfectly explained to me what I needed to understand in a way that made complete sense to me. I am so glad Treemasters has such nice and professional staff. I know I can trust them to do great work.

Today was our second time hiring Treemasters, and both the process and the work were outstanding. The property where we live is on a steep slop on 2 sides, and was planted with numerous trees by the original owner nearly 50 years ago. William, certified arborist with Treemasters, previously consulted with us about removing 5 full grown black Acacias (which had been infested by a beetle) and a dead birch (which had been struck by lightning) on the property. I left a prior positive review for that job. We knew that we would also need to schedule treatment for two other 40+ year old birch trees, and removal of one additional dead birch tree, all of which had been infested by birch borers. Arborist William was still concerned about preserving any and trees whenever possible: when trees could be treated or trimmed instead of removed, that was his top priority. This time we had the second dead birch tree removed, and are scheduled for treatment for the two still-living birch trees. The Treemasters crew arrived promptly, and were working in a very confined space. The tree to be removed was close not only to one of our fences but also a neighbor's fence. The crew was extremely professional, courteous, and expertly and quickly removed the tree and cleared up all of the debris. In summary: At this point we have needed to have 7 elderly trees removed from a steep property - in a neighborhood with narrow, winding, and at times steep roads. Treemasters has consistently performed above and beyond expectations in terms of arrival, expert removal, and debris cleanup. Our assigned arborist has repeatedly demonstrated interest in protecting and preserving trees whenever possible rather than advocating for work just for the sake of getting a sale. Based in part on our positive experience, two different neighbors have now also had Treemasters out to assist with tree maintenance, and we are all very happy with the results. Even after we have the birch borer treatment for the remaining trees done, I plan to reach out to Treemasters for any other treatments and pruning advice for the remaining trees on the property. Finally, I want to mention the front office staff: my main contact for scheduling, billing, and questions has been with office staff member Jessica, who is a *gem.* She is always pleasant, cheerful, and helpful. In fact, whether it was related to scheduling, billing, or other questions, everyone I have spoken with at Treemasters has been polite and professional.

Excellent service. Christian and his crew were very professional. I had called multiple tree trimming companies but most were busy in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. His crew removed a huge tree trunk that pierced the roof and ceiling of my home in less than 2 hours.

I just learned about Treemasters recently when we needed a multi-tree removal as well as treatments to keep birch borers at bay. Certified arborist William Cross is a total professional: courteous, knowledgeable, and completely committed to help us find the best solution.

Within an amazingly short turnaround time, Mr. Cross and his team were out, expertly finished the job in a remarkably short period of time. I can not say enough good things about them, including how amazing it was to watch the team in action: I felt like I was watching a professional acrobatics team (with chainsaws) - they were that graceful and coordinated.

My next door neighbor asked how my experience with Treemasters has been, and I wholeheartedly endorsed them - that's how expert they are. Highly recommend.

Treemasters has been amazing to work with! The scheduling staff was very friendly and helpful and we were contacted by certified arborist William within a very short time. William was punctual, professional, and seemed sincerely interested in helping us find the right solutions to various jobs that needed doing. I can not say enough glowing and positive things about how professional and courteous he was. We needed several black acacia trees removed, as well as a large birch tree that had been killed by birch borers, and our property is steep and uneven . The crew showed up today. It was almost like watching an acrobat team as they gracefully, swiftly, and expertly brought each tree down. I am going to copy what another reviewer already said because it is perfect: "The crew that completed the work today was exceptional. They arrived early, set up traffic signage, confirmed what we wanted completed, and got to work immediately. The coordination of the work was impressive, expert, and with a high regard for safety and efficiency. There are not enough superlatives for this company. " I was so impressed with William and the crew that I have already recommended them to my next door neighbor, who also needed some tree work done. You *know* a company is good when you recommend them to the people who live next door to you! 🙂 If and when we need tree work done again I will not hesitate to call Treemasters immediately.

I can't say enough about the service we received today by Mr. Cassilly and his crew. They were Professional and Respectful and Ready to take care of business. They quickly got us out of a bind! 🇺🇲

TREEMASTERS continues to do a great job keeping our coastal oak trees 'oak warm/moths free. They come to spray to prevent getting them or if we forget, they spray to remove them. Great folks!!!

My wife grew up with Tad Jacobs, so when my family moved back to Marin after 25 years on the East Coast and purchased a 1/4 acre dream property up on Mt. Tam that was surrounded by several, massive, dying Monterey Pines, we called Treemasters, and boy am I glad we did. I wish we had a few months sooner, before one fell on our roof in a storm during the Winter of 22. At that point, we were working with a smaller Arborist who had trimmed the dying trees to see if we could get some more life out of them, which was a big waste resources. Long story short, we reached out to Treemasters, this past October, and Tad's crew was on site within days and removed the rest of the large Pines (6) in a couple of days! We were prepared for this job to last a while and were blown away by how efficiently and effectively this crew worked together. Everyone knew their place; they were extremely well-choreographed. Also tidy- They left the site immaculate. Fast forward a month... severe weather hit in a way the area hasn't experienced in decades, high wind and rain for weeks. I have no doubt that if this job hadn't been executed when it was, we would have had catastrophic damage to our home from more trees falling on our house. Thank you, Tad and the Treemasters crew! I would recommend them to anyone looking for expert Arborists with a lifelong understanding of the area and the trees that grow here. They also expertly pruned our remaining trees, including several fruit trees, in those two days as well. This tree job was the most significant work we have done on our property so far, and well worth it.

We needed a pair of bay trees trimmed to make them useful as a swing tree for our grandson. Mike understood our needs exactly, and set the job up within a few days of our initial contact. The crew was very professional, and left the yard looking undisturbed (except for the nearly naked trees). Well done. Grandson approved!

During the 2023 storms we worried about our HUGE eucalyptus tree. It was near our house and two neighbors homes. We call a few top companies in Marin County to get bids -- and while we had other work that needed to be done as well (trimming of a row of Eugenia trees, trimming of another two trees). Treemasters was referred to us by a dear friend (and master gardener). Their bid was fair, detailed, and lower than others who didn't clearly explain how much they would remove -- or go into detail about the other tree trimming we needed in our yard (to be done at the same time). Treemasters was responsive, scheduled us quickly (even with the storms and their need all over the county) and provided all insurance support for their work. Their team (of 6 - 7) showed up with safety gear, and executed this precarious trimming job with care, caution, and efficiency. Sammy (the group leader) was wonderful in orchestrating the team, the process and dealing with our flights of stairs, tight cul de sac (and need to pull the grinder up to the house), and care needed to protect our newly installed pavers in our driveway. We even asked if they could grind out a stump at another time, and they managed to do it while there were there in addition to all of the other jobs we had for them. The job site was clean and tidy when they left. We were incredibly happy, impressed and relieved -- we will call them for any tree work in the future. Highly RECOMMEND Treemasters.

This service was terrific in removing some 1986 trees that had roots messing with my 1906 house. They were efficient and communication was great. Highly recommend. (Their green business policy is also very good - I knew the wood would go to its highest use).

We had six trees trimmed, thinned & shaped plus a tall 25 year old boxwood hedge shortened. Two weeks from calling Treemasters to job completion. Very happy with quality of their work including the clean-up of debris and the professionalism of the crew. Very conscientious about signage and cones along street. Compliments from neighbors. Will definitely use them again.

These folks did a great job with tree service on our commercial property at 1595 Grant Ave. It had many very large and overgrown trees including redwoods, firs, and liquid ambers. They removed several large and unhealthy trees, and pruned and shaped the remainder. Ground the stumps away. They did everything I had asked them to do, expertly!

Tad and the crew at tree masters have helped me out time and time again over the years. They are Excellent and truly are "tree masters"!

We have a liquid amber tree and a mulberry tree in our front yard. Both were massively overgrown. Treemasters expertly trimmed and shaped both trees to our complete satisfaction. They had exactly the equipment needed, including a large boom lift, and the operators were very skilled. They were very efficient, completing their work in about 90 minutes, including a very thorough cleanup. We could not be happier. Last year Treemasters cut down an extremely large pine tree in our back yard, and they did an excellent job then as well.

We live on a hill and had 4 oak trees blocking our view. We talked to the neighbor and called Treemasters. They cut one down the same day as the estimate and two days later trimmed up the other trees, giving us back our view but keeping shade and the beauty of the trees. Treemasters covered or landscaping with tarps while working, shaped the trees to look natural, and completely cleaned up after themselves. The price was fair and the whole job was painless.
