Owner Tad Jacobs has been providing Marin County with quality tree care since 1987. With Tad’s drive and vision TREEMASTERS has grown into one of Marin County’s most recognized and respected tree care companies. TREEMASTERS is a TCIA Accredited Company and is honored to have this recognition. Tad, a member of the ” TCIA Peer to Peer Group” a group of business leaders in the tree service industry from all over the US as well as Canada, that get together and share ideas, business strategies and their experiences. Tad is now a Board Member of the TCIA, the world’s largest Arboricultural Trade Organization, representing over 2300 tree care firms worldwide.

Tad is heavily involved and dedicated in continuing his education and training to stay current with the latest developments in the tree care industry in order to provide our clients with the highest quality service. Tad is currently an I.S.A. Certified Arborist with a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, a Certified Tree Care Professional and Licensed by the State of California as a Qualified Applicator. Tad is an austere leader with safety being the #1 priority for the production teams in the field. Tad has established a rigorous safety training regime for new field team members as well as the seasoned team members who have been with the Company for decades. When Tad is not out and about meeting with clients, running crews or managing his business, this Marin County native enjoys cycling and mountain biking along the trails of scenic Marin County.
